· To set up a resource centre, which will be open to scholars from all over the world to document, research and develop classical dance.

Project Nrityagyan already includes the following:

On weekends, approximately 200 local village children receive free Odissi dance training at Nrityagram. Students who show promise, perform at our annual showing and if they wish to pursue a career in dance, they are admitted into our residential programme.

Residential students from Nrityagram conduct free lecture- demonstrations and master classes in local rural and urban schools. This is a programme that is scheduled once every month and students who show a keen interest in dance are encouraged to participate in Nrityagram's free weekend training programme.
